Mission Shaped Ministry

We will be hosting a year-long Mission Shaped Ministry course at St. Nicholas Church in 2010. The course is made up of 24 sessions, spread over 6 weekday
evenings, 3 Saturdays and one residential weekend. It will cover such issues as: how to begin, sustain and grow a fresh expression of church, the qualities and characteristics of Christian ministry, how to listen to God in culture and community, the Christian call to share in God’s mission, the nature and shape of the church and how to grow new Christians and make disciples.
More specific information will follow, as the course begins to take shape.
About Mission Shaped Ministry
The Mission Shaped Ministry Course was launched in September 2006, and has been taught in many churches throughout the country. It aims to equip church leaders for pioneer ministry in fresh expressions of church, creating church for a changing culture that reaches out to those who would never consider attending traditional church.
